Weddings in Review - Brandy and Dwayne
DAY 3Butterfly's are fluttering, and her nerves are gathering as she walks down the aisle for the first time. Escorted by her father who so dearly loved her from the moment she took her first breath, is about to give his blessings to her new found love only steps away...
Brandy and Dwayne shared something special that day, something they will keep alive in their hearts forever and pass along in stories to their children, and their children's children.
Our newly weds joyfully walk down the aisle heading to the rear of the church eliminated by ambient lighting flowing from the open church doors behind the photographer.
Anticipation is the key to great wedding photography. Knowing were the bride will be next what separates a professional photographer from the "non".

Nothing says "I love you" more than your first dance! This is the opportunity that you have to show your closest friends and family just how much you love your "Soul Mate".
The image above depicts Brandy and Dwayne's first dance together as a new couple. Midway they were both joined by their children they so dearly love and danced happily as a family on a new path together.

Day 1Brandy and Dwayne had a traditional wedding and wed on July 20th 2008. Their morning was encompassed with making sure everything was perfect, and when I went to see the bride she was checking her dress to ensure she was looking beautiful. The bride was feeling excited and a little bit nervous but felt comfortable enough to glance toward the photographer for an elegant pose.
Once the ceremony was over they were ready to celebrate their marriage at their reception hall located in Apopka.

Weddings in Review - Karen and William
DAY 2Although small in size the Lighthouse at Lakefront park is extraordinarily beautiful when taken in the correct lighting and proper composition. As seen in the image here we have a newer style of photography that is clearly taking the interest not only today's "graphic guru's" but also by Brides and Grooms. This image is style known as "HDR" or High Definition Rendering. In its simplest form HDR photos bring the colors, and details of the images to a higher level to enhance the overall details of the image. This can give a very dramatic effect, and sometimes alter the image to look as if it was painted or created as a 3D image through computer rendering software.
Most importantly the HDR image gives this lighthouse a dramatic effect and one that any couple would enjoy sending to friends or posting online as a fun romantic way to remember their wedding day.

June 28th, 2008 was truly an unforgettable wedding for us at Scarlato Photography as well as for Karen and William. One may never meet a more generous couple than these two individuals! They have kept in continuous contact since their wedding and have loved every moment of their marriage together. Thank you for the wonderful moments we shared together! This weeks blog is dedicated to the two of you!
We had the distinct honor to capture the moments of this wedding last summer for Karen, William, and their closest friends/family at Lakefront Park in Kissimmee, Florida. As depicted in the image aside, you can see that it was a gorgeous day with a picturesque backdrop of a "mini lighthouse". For those of you interested in this location we have included the address below as a courtesy to you.
Lakefront park is a small public Park which looks out into a breathtaking image of Lake Tohopekaliga. It includes a small parking lot for guests and a covered pavilion for weekend pinics with the family. A short drive for those Kissimmee natives and a short trek for those out-of-towners visiting our world class attractions.
The angle at which this image was captured is the total package, as it relates to overall photographic composition. Our newly married couple is romantically placed in the middle third of the image, with a unique backdrop of the lighthouse. The foreground grass, rocks, and a hint of gusting wind, wraps up a remarkable picture that both Karen and William will cherish for a lifetime.
Bridal Shows
Whether you are engaged, married, or an anniversary veteran you probably have seen or heard of Wedding Bridal Shows. Well we would like to take this opportunity to share with our customers, friends, and colleagues that Bridal Shows are the best way to start planning for your big day. Normally, Bridal Shows are a collaboration of various vendors isolated in a single location. The key word in the previous sentence is "isolated", which allows you the ability to learn about multiple vendors from multiple professions at the same time. This saves time, gas, money, and in the long run your sanity (which is most important).
To assist we have listed a great organization that puts together these wonderful events. The folks at the Perfect Wedding Guide are season veterans who know how to put on a great show with talented vendors. We (Scarlato Photography) had a great opportunity to participate in the February Bridal Show earlier this year. It truly was a great experience and really helped us connect closely to you (our customers).
